Hammerson announces that upholstery design and retail brand Fabb Sofas will be coming to a newly-built unit at Abbotsinch Retail Park in Paisley.
Fabb Sofas, launched by DFS founder Lord Kirkham in 2016, has already opened six UK stores, and the store in Paisley will be only the second in Scotland and the first outside of Edinburgh.
Work on the new 1,860 sq m unit will begin on site in June, and will complete in the autumn of this year, in time for a store opening before Christmas. Fabb Sofas will be joining a strong line-up of homeware retailers at Abbotsinch Retail Park, including B&Q, Wren, ScS, Dunelm, DFS, Tapi and Oak Furniture Land, confirming the park as an ideal destination for home improvement shopping trips.
Andrew Berger-North, Director, UK Retail Parks at Hammerson commented, “We are delighted that Fabb Sofas has chosen Abbotsinch Retail Parks to open its second Scottish store. New entrants to the homewares market are turning the sector on its head, and the signing of such an exciting and new brand such as Fabb is testament to Abbotsinch’s reputation as a key furniture and homeware destination for customers in the region.”
