Hammerson and Aberdeen Standard Investments have this month secured two new retailers for the centre’s premium offer in mall five which has been reconfigured and refreshed to ensure Brent Cross continues to deliver a best-in-class brand-mix for customers. Specialist multi-brand British beauty retailer Space NK is set to open a new boutique alongside Waterstones, which have launched one of the bookstore’s new stores.

Consumer favourite Space NK has become the go-to destination for worldwide beauty discovery. The brand is the ultimate curator of over 100 in demand, highly innovative beauty brands.

The 1,560 sq ft boutique, which is due to open later this year, will bring global best-selling brands to Brent Cross, including Drunk Elephant, Hourglass and Laura Mercier, and continue to strengthen the extensive beauty and cosmetics offering with in-store events including skincare consultations, professional treatment in the store’s beauty room,  seasonal make-up masterclasses and beauty expert meet-and-greets.

The new letting to Waterstones is in response to extensive customer feedback with requests for a high-quality book shop to join the line-up at Brent Cross. The 3,000 sq ft bookstore has taken two units on mall five and opened this month. Along with a range of books to delight and inspire all ages and tastes, the new shop will offer an exciting events programme including story time sessions for children, along with adult book-readings and signings.

One of the UK’s most iconic retail and leisure destinations, Brent Cross has a forty year history of attracting the very best brands and remains a key location for consumers. This latest asset management strategy has seen retailers on mall five such as Jaeger, LK Bennett and Monsoon proactively replaced over the past three years with brands that continue to resonate strongly with consumers, including All Saints, Guess and Anthropologie. The first half of 2019 also saw international clothing brand Khaadi and athleisure brand North Face take space on the mall five.
