Hammerson is excited to welcome more new high-profile brands, as the flight to its prime, urban city centre destinations continues.

Ahead of its Half Year Results (27th July), the new signings further demonstrate the attractiveness of the Hammerson portfolio and the strategic progress made to enliven and reinvigorate its assets by introducing leading brands, diversifying its occupiers and repurposing and reimagining its destinations.

The new brands include Footasylum at Bullring & Grand Central in Birmingham, Jack & Jones at Cabot Circus in Bristol, Office at The Oracle in Reading and Bagel Factory and Wingstop which are both due to commence trading at Westquay in Southampton later this year.

Bullring – Birmingham

Additionally, Wingstop, the world’s hottest chicken wing brand continues to expand globally with a new restaurant due to open later this year at Westquay.

These new leasing deals continue to build on Hammerson’s recent leasing momentum following the Spring refresh across the portfolio and the recently announced arrival of Inditex brands, Berksha and Pull&Bear, at Bullring and the repurposing of Brent Cross’ carpark space into a new circus for the summer.

Paul O’Brien, Director of Leasing and Commercialisation, said: “These signings clearly demonstrate the success of our strategy and the confidence we have in our vision of repositioning and future-proofing our destinations to attract the best quality brands and concepts. Hammerson’s pipeline remains strong as we continue to build on our leasing momentum with new openings and partnerships, which will in turn engage new audiences and drive new revenue streams.”
