Dundrum Town set for major wave of openings
- 15 openings, refurbishments and upsizes to come before Christmas, building on 10 successful launches so far in 2026
- Stradivarius, Kiko Milano, Bershka, Oliver Bonas, White Stuff, Tommy Hilfiger, Mountain Warehouse and Popeyes among latest investments
- Flagship Zara opening is latest footfall driver, with customers welcoming the newly refurbished store with Ireland-first limited-edition range
Dundrum Town is experiencing a major wave of retail investment, with a programme of 25 new openings, store upsizes and major refurbishments taking place across 2026. Ten of these have already been completed, with 15 further openings to be unveiled and investment continuing throughout the autumn and ahead of the Christmas shopping season.
The newly expanded 38,000 sq ft Zara flagship store opened earlier this month and boasts the full limited-edition Studio Collection of womenswear, menswear and kidswear, the only such offer in Ireland. Bershka has refurbished its 8,500 sq ft store, while Tommy Hilfiger unveiled a newly refurbished 3,000 sq ft ‘Residence’ store earlier this month. These openings supported a 7% footfall increase compared with the same period last year.
Mountain Warehouse has recently opened a 14,000 sq ft unit in the retail park whilst beauty brand Kiko Milano has opened a new store. Popeyes and Sushi & Go have further expanded Dundrum Town’s food and beverage offering this month. Earlier in the year saw investments from Irish brands Pestle & Mortar, Nutbutter, Sprout and Vice Pizza.
A further series of new arrivals is planned in the weeks ahead. Global fashion brand Stradivarius is set to open a new 11,000 sq ft store, British lifestyle brand Oliver Bonas will open a new 2,500 sq ft unit, White Stuff will open a 2,500 sq ft store and Crew Clothing will open a new 2,000 sq ft store. CEX, Shaking Lab and Dr Acupuncture will also join the line-up as part of the latest wave of openings. In November, Sarah Louise Interiors, Arisu, Tempt and Bah33 will open in the Pembroke District.
The upcoming arrival of the new 16,000 sq ft Zara Home, an Ireland first, represents another major milestone and further strengthens Dundrum Town’s homeware offer. The autumn will also see significant reinvestment by existing brands. M&S is transforming its 128,000 sq ft store through a comprehensive refurbishment ahead of its reopening in time for Christmas.
Claire Macken, Country Director at Hammerson, said: “Dundrum Town is riding high and the scale of investment we are seeing from both existing and new brands demonstrates continued confidence in us and the strength of the Irish retail market. From major flagship brand investments to the arrival of exciting new names and home-grown formats, we are continually enhancing the experience for our visitors. This latest programme will deliver even greater choice across fashion, beauty, home, dining and lifestyle while reinforcing Dundrum Town's position as Ireland's leading retail destination."
