Primark has opened at Hammerson’s O’Parinor shopping centre in Paris, for the brand’s first store in Paris.
Primark is now the new fashion anchor for the centre and has a 5,500m² (59,000ft²) full line store which trades over one level.
Bringing Primark to O’Parinor is part of the €50M renovation programme for the 90,000m² (970,000ft²) shopping centre to the north-east of Paris. This includes a new cinema anchor and restaurant quarter and prime retail floor space for the value fashion retailer.
O’Parinor welcomes over 12 million visitors a year and is anchored by one of the top 10 Carrefour hypermarkets in France. Other major retailers include Sephora, Guess, G-Star, Zara and H&M.
Jean-Philippe Mouton, Managing Director for Hammerson France commented: “Primark has been one of the outstanding retail success stories in recent years and its brand presence continues to drives strong footfall. Being able to deliver its compelling fashion offer to the Parisian catchment will strengthen O’Parinor’s appeal with both retailers and shoppers.”
