Hammerson has further strengthened its retail team with the creation of a new senior management role. Janette Bell has joined the Company as UK Sales and Marketing Director, bringing a range of experience from the retail and FMCG sectors.
Janette started her career in 1985 at Tesco, where she held various operational and management roles in buying and marketing. In 2004 she moved to PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she provided senior consultancy on category, channel, marketing and pricing strategies to a range of international customers, including Diageo, Calvin Klein cosmetics and Coca Cola.
She has spent the last seven years at Centrica, where she held three key roles in British Gas: Head of Strategy and Market Development, Head of Propositions & Customer Marketing and then Director of Sales & Marketing, British Gas Services.
Janette will report into Lawrence Hutchings, Managing Director of UK Retail.
